Tony Nardo, MBA, TEP

As President, Tony Nardo leads the Leadership Team at First State Trust, which is responsible for implementing the fiduciary, administration, operations, investment and compliance functions. Tony leads the firm’s Fiduciary Steering Committee and serves on the Board of Directors. Tony is responsible for overall strategic development and works closely with the leadership team to broaden the enterprise and footprint while ensuring our fiduciary obligations are being met. Tony recently served as the National Sales Manager leading the Comerica Advisor Solutions sales division focused on expanding the trust and estate business through partner relationships with financial advisors, centers of influence and business partners.
Tony is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds its Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. Tony actively participates as a member of the Delaware Estate Planning Council. Tony graduated from Wilmington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Manager and an M.B.A. in Business Administration.
Tony has spent more than 22 years in the financial services sector with Discover Bank, Fleet Bank (Bank Boston), RBC Trust Company (Delaware) Limited and Comerica Bank & Trust, N.A. Tony’s focus has been on growing fiduciary revenue, growing assets under management, leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
